The World Tai-Jitsu Federation (WTJF) is created with the purpose of associating groups, associations and federations from different countries in a governing body to regulate the practice of Tai-Jitsu at world level, as well as unifying the different Tai-Jitsu groups in the world and promoting friendly relationships among their members, supporting underdeveloped countries in the popularization of Tai-Jitsu and the training of its professionals.

The WTJF will endeavour in the unification, coordination and popularization of Tai-Jitsu at world level, promoting educational, technical, competitive and scientific activities related to Tai-Jitsu, supported on the establishment of rules and regulations to obtain international and world degrees and titles. It will also favour the creation of National Tai-Jitsu federations in each country.

It will promote and supervise international and world scope events and will grant degrees and titles of international and world legitimacy, as well as validate those granted by associated organizations.

It will also train and graduate referees and technical professionals of international and world level, and award honours and distinctions.
